Nine Eleven. 20 years after. Lessons to be learned.

Ten years ago I started a blog called Austroamericanfriendship and wrote an article “9–11. Ten years after. Lessons to be learned.” https://austroamericanfriendship.wordpress.com/2011/09/

I think my assessment back then might still be worth reading ten years later. Like Ayaan Hirsi Ali so eloquently argues, we need to fight the war of ideas. We have to counter the ideology and the propaganda that fosters Islamic extremism and terrorism. Soldiers alone cannot win this war, like Afghanistan has proven.
